Dr. Liem Nguyen, DMD
General DentistDr. Liem Nguyen is a general dentist at Fair Lakes Family Dentistry Cypress. Originally from Texas, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Houston before pursuing his dental degree at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Nguyen brings a unique perspective to dentistry, having worked as a registered nurse for six years prior to becoming a dentist. His experience in healthcare fuels his commitment to comprehensive, long-term care and his passion for building lasting relationships with his patients.
He has completed advanced training in sedation dentistry, laser procedures, and dental implant surgery. Dr. Nguyen believes that dentistry is not just about fixing teeth—it’s about creating lifelong health and confidence. He takes the time to understand each patient’s needs and goals, and works with them to create personalized, preventative-focused treatment plans that improve both oral health and overall well-being.
He is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry, and stays up-to-date on the latest technology and techniques to provide the highest quality care.
In his free time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys staying active with his wife, Uny, and their two children, Lincoln and Layne. Whether it's working out in his garage gym, spending time outdoors, or training for his next Ironman or marathon, Dr. Nguyen brings the same dedication and energy to his personal life that he brings to his practice. The family’s Shiba Inu, Uhtred—named after the main character in The Last Kingdom—is never far behind.
